What prices are changing?
We’ve dropped the one-off prices for all our main dog food (kibble) varieties and sizes.
The main thing we are changing is reducing the one-off product pricing to close the gap between one-off and subscription pricing.
This narrows the gap between one-off and subscription pricing. Because subscription discounts are calculated as a percentage of one-off prices, this may slightly adjust subscription pricing - but usually only by a few cents.
Will my subscription pricing change?
Some subscription pricing may change, but mostly within a handful of cents – most prices have actually decreased a little.
Why are we making this change?
We want to make it easier for our customers to choose how they want to buy, and offer more transparent pricing.
Traditionally, we wanted to show a good savings for subscribing, over a one-off purchase – this was to support subscription as a better way to buy your pet food. But that sometimes hid just how good our food’s value really is.. We hope that by dropping the one-off price, more people will realise the value that you already know!
Do I need to change anything?
Nope. Subscription is still the cheapest, easiest and most convenient way to buy your dog food (and treats) from myFurbaby.
We genuinely believe that having a regular delivery of the right amount of food is better for dogs and their humans! But we still want to show good value for people who don’t like the idea of a scheduled delivery.
By closing the gap between one-off and subscription pricing, we hope that there is still a genuine pricing reward for the convenience and loyalty, of subscription… but now, if you have a friend who just wants to try it, they don’t have to pay much more than you if they just want to start with a one-off order.
Will you be offering more loyalty value to subscribers?
Yes, this is certainly part of our plan. The first step is to adjust the pricing to make it easier for new customers to decide whether they want to but one-off or on repeat.
We are also working on ways to offer more loyalty benefits to our loyal customers, and we hope to have an update on this, this side of Christmas.
When will the prices take effect?
We are updating the one-off pricing on our site today, so you may notice a small change in your subscription pricing from your next order.
