Fun fact: A healthy gut microbiome is essential for a healthy dog and immune system.

We know the importance of gut health, not just in humans but in dogs too. That's why we've been working hard behind the scenes to bring you our NEW Boosters. They're perfect for furbabies who need extra nutrients in their diet or particularly fussy eaters who get bored at mealtimes.

Salmon and Tripe can be used to super-boost kibble into a make-your-own kibble PLUS recipe! They're also super flexible and can be used with mixed feeding and raw diets. Play around and add them in your pet's favourite way.

Skin & Joint Problems? Try Our Salmon Booster

We love utilising the power of fresh salmon, so our Salmon Booster is a great additional source of micronutrients, protein, omega-3, and omega-6 fatty acids to support healthy joints and muscle growth. Regular boosters at mealtimes can help with shinier coats, and healthy skin while providing extra brain food for puppies or older dogs.

The Salmon booster is ideal for:

  • Puppies and senior dogs
  • Skin allergies
  • Joint issues,
  • Fussy or picky dogs.
  • Essential amino acids for muscle growth and tissue repair

Our 100g Salmon bag contains approximately just over a month's supply for a smaller dog.

Sensitive Pooch? Start with the Tripe Booster

We're also offering a Tripe Booster. It's packed full of vitamins and minerals, natural digestive enzymes and essential amino acids to support several functions in the body, including the gut and digestive health. Because it's made with tripe, it's packed full of goodness. Regular Tripe boosters at mealtimes will help sensitive tummies get all the nutrients they need, and they're tasty too!

The Tripe booster is ideal for:

  • Sensitive tummies
  • Sick and recovering pets
  • Low energy
  • Fussy or picky dogs.
  • Probiotics and digestive enzymes for gut health and digestion
  • Tripe boosters help support immunity, increase energy (B12) and make mealtimes yum for fussy eaters

Our 80g Tripe bag contains approximately a month's supply for a smaller dog.

Booster Serving Suggestions

These boosters are packed full of nutrients. We recommend introducing them slowly to a maximum of 3-5% of the mealtime diet volumes.

Add a little bit of booster once a day to your dog's meal, ideally over several days to avoid any upset tummies that can be caused by high nutrients. This is good quality stuff, so a little goes a long way. We recommend the following amounts depending on how heavy your dog is.

Our recommended booster feeding guide

Is There Ever Too Much of a Good Thing?

Yup, there sure is. These boosters are packed with extra nutrients and only need to be used in a small amount to make a big difference in your pet's diet. A vet nutritionist has independently calculated our feeding guide to give your pet, only what it needs because overfeeding with a topper product will dilute the balanced nutrition of our core kibble diet. It’s also important that pet parents understand that too much protein can promote aggressiveness in dogs.

Our recommendation is what is best for your furbaby, and your wallet. Crush them, soak them, or only use them every second meal. Use them in moderation because a little goes a long way. Just a sniff of the open packet is enough to get your dog drooling for dinnertime.
Remember; the rule of thumb is to aim for between 3-5% booster in every meal. To make that super easy for automated deliveries this equates to 1-2 boosters per 5kg of food. So go get boosting!

Adding Boosters to Your Furbabies Diet

  • To avoid overfeeding, freeze-dried boosters can be crumbled up by hand into much smaller pieces! They can also be reconstituted into ‘wet’ food by sitting in water before serving.
  • Add booster chunks directly to the top of each meal OR mix them through to fully disperse the tasty goodness.
  • Older or smaller dogs with teeth issues may prefer a soft, rehydrated version. Just add a splash of water to soften for a ‘wet’ food option.
  • It's important to reduce the remaining volume of other food in each meal to accommodate the extra calories from your new booster!
  • Extra fussy dogs might enjoy swapping from one flavour to the next each month for some surprise and delight and an unexpected new flavour hit.

Please note:

The boosters can be a little smelly for humans straight from the pack (they're even stinkier once wet, but trust us that your furbabies will love them). When it comes to treats, the stinkier the better we say!

By making sure your furbaby receives lots of nutrients in their diet, you’ll ensure they stay happy and healthy.
